I’m a Chicago-based interactive design director and illustrator.
About me
I currently lead visual design at Motorola where I merge systems thinking and creativity in order to deliver digital products that are beautiful, efficient, and scalable. Previously, I have designed interfaces and visual systems for CNN, Turner Broadcasting, and tastytrade.
Empathy. Curiosity. Authenticity.
— My guiding principles
Design systems
I specialize in the creation of comprehensive visual design systems for digital interfaces that are both visually appealing and easy to use.
Interface design
I have deep experience designing a wide range of digital solutions from simple interactions to complex and immersive experiences.
Illustration
My hand-drawn illustration work is inspired by mid-century animation, fine art portraiture, and golden-age comics. I have published editorial illustrations for CNN.com and recently wrote and illustrated a children’s picture book.
Other work
From branding & logos to animation & motion graphics, typography, photography, and crafting projects, I love creating a variety of things, both digital and physical.
